Middle School boys opened with a victory against Strongsville, winning 6-5 in the first game, and 4-2 in the second.

Strongsville has an outstanding Middle School program, and were 2016 runners-up in the Division III Middle School Tournament, and a second Strongsville team were 2016 state champions in Division IV.

Next up, defending 2016 Division I state champion (and arch rival) Rocky River.
